HANDWOVEN SPIRAL SKIRT WITH FRINGES

A concept-driven pencil skirt sculpted through a continuous spiral construction, using silk-raffia mesh handwoven with textured yarns over a metallic knitted base. The spiral form wraps around the body, creating a dynamic sense of movement even at rest.
Fringed edges enhance the tactile quality of the piece, while the structured silhouette maintains a refined profile. This design reflects AKHL’s exploration of form through construction, where traditional weaving techniques are reimagined into architectural shapes.
